Welcome To My C-Log Progress Report!
June came and went with a bang! Shortly after wrapping the Eric Stoltz Project in San Francisco with some incredibly talented actors and film makers, I signed with new representation in New York & Los Angeles.
I found that "I was born too late" (to quote one of my favorite musicians Sandi Thom) & in the wrong era when I booked a period Promo for ESPN. The Hair, the Makeup, the Wardrobe, just felt so right ;^) -- -->

This month was exciting in that, I got to rekindle old friendships and visit with people I hadn't seen in ages! It felt like every corner I turned - there was an old friend to catch up with. And WOW, it's busy season again. SO many auditions & Eco-Cast opportunities, I don't know if my agent in the South ever sleeps. Love her to death!
Got to catch up & help out pro indie film maker

OCTOBER 2014
This month started so positive and simple, like any other month.... I flew to Atlanta for a callback and found myself climbing to the top of Stone Mountain Park to watch the sunset and enjoy the peace life has to offer.
I went to support Atlanta local theater performers telling ghost sories at a haunted plantation & met a ghost! "Boo Y'all"
Enjoyed a screening of "Beetlejuice" with Q&A by creator Larry Wilson, hosted by "Nerds Like Us."

Did you know the character of Lydia is based off "The Cure" Song?!
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and inspired by Louisiana Leader Dr. Laura Badeaux's bravery with her ongoing battle against breast cancer, I did something I have always wanted to do: I cut my hair off to donate to "Locks For Love!"
October 21st is always a day of reflection for me. It was that day I lost one of the closest people I had to family in Los Angeles - the incredibly talented cinematographer Denny Hall. I spoke to him just 9 hours before his passing. We laughed and made plans for the upcoming week. It ended up being a conversation I will cherish for the rest of my life.
My heart hurts to write about my friend and mentor who passed on Halloween.
Dan Velez inspired me to change my life and gifted me with tools I use every single day; not just in my work as an actor, but in life. He encouraged me to be myself, embrace what makes me unique and implored me to create my own opportunity - when I had the idea to start this website, it was because of one of the many free workshops that he gave to his students. Dan was so generous. He gave so much of himself to everyone around him who worked hard because to Dan, everybody deserves a chance to pursue their dreams, no matter what cards they were dealt in life. Dan volunteered countless hours to class and to privately coaching his actors, pushing us to work harder, be better - "be brilliant!" He is the one who taught me to experience life to it's fullest and to use it in my work. Dan would say things like "Anything can be a trigger in a scene so value and respect EVERY life experience as holding purpose and meaning; find nostalgia in objects, if it's not there, create it; listen to strangers as if they are your best friends; be brave; analyze everything in life so you don't over think it in your work, trust your instincts; be physically active, stretch, meditate, breathe and take time for yourself everyday; LIVE."
Dan taught me to LIVE, and he will live in my heart every second of the rest of my life. So, for you Dan, because I know you would push me to continue and keep dreaming October.....

Above, one of the few pictures Dan posed for, he was so excited and proud to open his new studio space for actors, directors and producers to come together, create and DREAM BIG!
